JD was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. He has been married for 15 years to his amazing wife and has 4 beautiful children and a dog named Indy.

Before joining American Family as an agent JD's professional background was in business management.

JD enjoys spending his time in the outdoors which includes fishing, hiking, and biking. Even when he is not doing them with his family he enjoys these hobbies with his friends. The Ogden Valley is the perfect place to live and stay active.
